The name comes from something deeper than technology. Before I became focused on large software systems, I volunteered at Hope Campus, a homeless shelter. Seeing people facing difficult circumstances showed me how much compassion, opportunity, education, and community support can matter. I've volunteered with Hope Campus and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and I participated in DECA, developing leadership, business, communication, and teamwork experience. I have played online under usernames including Skylerblue333 and Skylerblue3333. Chess teaches me the same things I try to apply to software engineering: Strategy. Patience. Pattern recognition. Planning. Risk management. Adaptation. Learning from mistakes. Every game is another lesson. Every mistake creates another opportunity to improve. And sometimes the most important thing is simply finding the right next move. --- ✍️ Author I'm also becoming an independent author and storyteller. My first major book project is: Loathing in the Woes of Ruthlessness: The Chosen One The book explores themes surrounding technology, AI, cyberwarfare, digital culture, power, relationships, conflict, manipulation, identity, resilience, and the struggle to understand reality in an increasingly connected world. I'm developing the manuscript alongside my technology projects, with GitHub serving as part of the creative and archival process. Writing gives me a place to explore ideas that don't fit inside source code. My goal is to continue developing work that combines technology, fiction, entrepreneurship, personal experiences, and ideas about the future. --- 💼 Innovative IT Resolutions I founded Innovative IT Resolutions (IITR) to pursue software engineering, AI solutions, cloud technologies, automation, cybersecurity, IT consulting, and technology services. My professional background also includes leadership and operations. I served as a Team Lead at Elite Comfort Solutions from January 13, 2024 through June 25, 2024, gaining experience in leadership, manufacturing, quality, communication, teamwork, and process improvement. I've also worked with Black Diamond Nursery since 2010, building experience in customer service, teamwork, operations, and working directly with customers. Those experiences taught me that technology isn't only about code. People, communication, leadership, reliability, and teamwork matter too. --- 👨‍👧‍👧 Family I'm the proud father of three daughters: Luna Avigail Summer Skye Alexis Isabella-Jane My daughters are one of my greatest motivations. I want to build a legacy of: Innovation • Education • Compassion • Opportunity • Perseverance • Hope I want my children to be able to look at what I built and see someone who kept learning and kept trying even when life wasn't easy. --- 🇨🇳 Mandarin, China & Chen Zhihan Another important chapter of my life has been my interest in Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. I've spent time learning Mandarin and exploring Chinese culture, and my relationship with Chen Zhihan (陈芷涵) from Jiangsu, China, whom I affectionately called “Hello Kitty,” made that connection especially meaningful. Our relationship was long-distance and deeply important to me. We experienced the difficulty of being separated by distance, different circumstances, and forces outside our relationship. From my perspective, circumstances ultimately contributed to us being separated, and the relationship ended in divorce. That chapter of my life was painful, but it also taught me about love, distance, cultural differences, communication, loss, resilience, and how deeply another person can affect your life even when you're worlds apart. I still value what that chapter taught me. It also strengthened my interest in cross-cultural communication and international relationships. --- ❤️ Hannah Dawn / Lucy Life continued, and another chapter began. My current connection with Hannah Dawn, also known as Lucy, has taught me new things about love and relationships. I love Lucy. Life doesn't always give us the story we expected. Sometimes one chapter ends so another can begin. I'm grateful for the lessons from the past and for the people who are part of my present. --- 🌎 My Life Story My journey hasn't been a straight line.
